Altijd benieuwd geweest hoe je je spreekvaardigheid kan verbeteren? Ben je op zoek naar tips en trucs van een professional? Schrijf je dan nu in voor de cursus "Overtuigend Spreken".
Op donderdag 6 maart 2014 organiseren wij een cursus die zal gegeven worden door Ruud de Joode.
Ruud de Joode is een veelgevraagd trainer, coach en gesprekleider bij Debat.NL. Zijn stijl is een unieke combinatie van inhoudelijk scherp met veel souplesse op de persoon. Door zijn ervaring als (internationaal) wedstrijddebater van nationaal niveau weet hij als geen ander overtuigingskracht in te zetten om een boodschap over te brengen. Voorbeelden van opdrachten:
• Sparringspartner voor Tweede Kamerleden in aanloop naar de verkiezingen.
• Debatleider op het VNG jaarcongres
• Moderator bij meerdere verkiezingsdebatten in aanloop naar de Gemeenteraadsverkiezing.
• Training overtuigingskracht voor het MDLI

An absolutely on point, open letter to The Daily mail's Richard littlejohn for his racist islamophobic piece.
Thomas Jefferson may have been rather harsh, but was most likely on the money, when he said, "The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers".
What amazed me is how the article managed to amalgamate female genital mutilation with Legoland Knights' Kingdom, merge evening prayers with shopping mall bombings and combine virgins in Paradise with bacon sandwiches. I am sorry to say, that the final result, was not the prettiest piece of journalism to emerge from the Daily Mail...

Für fast fünf Jahrhunderte war der Katholizismus die vorherrschende Religion in Mexiko.
1970 bestanden 96,7 Prozent der Bevölkerung Mexikos aus Katholiken. 2010 ist die Zahl laut Pew Research Center auf 82,7 Prozent gesunken.
Ein Großteil dieser Veränderung wird dem Anwachsen anderer christlicher Konfessionen zugeschrieben. Evangelikale, Protestanten und Zeugen Jehovas kommen auf 8 Prozent der Mexikaner, die sich mit einer Religion identifizieren.
Eine kleine, doch wachsende Gruppe Konvertierter sucht ihr seelisches Heil im Islam. Und zwar schätzt Pew, dass Mexiko im Jahr 2030 die Heimat für 126000 Muslime sein wird, angestiegen von 111000 im Jahr 2010.
Warum verlassen einige Mexikaner die Katholische Kirche und konvertieren?
Die Gründe sind so vielfältig wie die Bevölkerung. Einige stellen die Katholische Glaubenslehre in Frage und das Prinzip der Trinität – drei Götter in einem, Vater, Sohn und Heiliger Geist – im Gegensatz zu dem Einen Gott im Islam.
Andere drücken ihren Abscheu aus gegenüber den fortlaufenden Anschuldigungen von Sex-Skandalen und Päderastie, mit denen sich die Kirche im vergangenen Jahrzehnt geplagt hat.
Wieder andere sagen, sie wollten den Islam besser verstehen.
Martha Alamilla, 23, ist in einer katholischen Familie geboren und aufgewachsen. Sie hatte immer schon an eine höhere Macht geglaubt aber, sagt sie, als sie anfing, einige Grundsätze der Kirche zu hinterfragen, fand sie die angebotenen Antworten unbefriedigend.
"Es gab bei mir niemals einen Zweifel, dass Gott existierte", sagte sie an einem Freitag nach der Teilnahme an den Gebeten in der Moschee, "aber da waren immer Dinge in meiner Religion, die ich nachfragte, und die für mich keinen Sinn machten. Ich erhielt immer Antworten wie: "Nun ja, deswegen", und "das ist Gott und Gott ist so", und " weil Gott sagte, es wäre so."
Diese Antworten trieben Alamilla, die ein Diplom in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit Roboter hat, nur von der Kirche weg, auf der Suche nach besseren Antworten.
Alamilla sagte, dass ihre ursprüngliche Vorstellung von Islam eine von Terrorismus und Unterdrückung war, aber im Verlauf, als sie den Koran erforschte und Muslime traf, entdeckte sie ein Glaubenssystem, welches die Fragen, die sie stellte, beantwortete.
"Ich begriff, es ist eine wunderschöne Religion. Alles macht Sinn," erklärt Alamilla. "Für jede einzelne Frage, die ich je hatte, gibt es eine Antwort im Koran und in der Sunnah."
Nach sechs monatigem Islam-Studium, hat Alamilla offiziell vor zwei muslimischen Zeugen das Glaubensbekenntnis abgelegt, dass es nur den Einen Gott gibt und Muhammad der Gesandte Gottes ist.
Allamilla sagt, ein weit verbreitetes Missverständnis über den Islam sei, dass Frauen unterdrückt würden, es ihnen nicht erlaubt sei, sich auszudrücken oder sie gezwungen würden, sich zu verschleiern oder zu bedecken. Im Laufe ihrer Studien, berichtet Alamilla, habe sie erfahren, dass der Gesichtsschleier oder der Hijab auf freier Wahl beruhe. "Jeder einzelne Muslim, den ich getroffen habe, ist eine wundervolle Person," sagt sie. "Nicht, weil sie zwangsläufig so geboren wurden, sondern weil die Religion sie so macht."
Alamilla hat ihren neuen Glauben angenommen, aber ihre Entscheidung ihrer katholischen Familie mitzuteilen ist eine andere Geschichte. Ihre Mutter und ihr Bruder wissen, dass sie dabei ist, den Islam zu studieren, aber sie sagt, sie sei nicht bereit, ihnen von der Konversion zu erzählen.
"Ich möchte ihnen erst mit meinen Taten beweisen, dass ich mich als Person geändert habe," stellt sie fest. "Wenn ich ihnen erzähle, dass ich konvertiert bin, möchte ich, dass sie sehen, dass ich zwar immer noch dieselbe Person bin, aber versuche, besser zu sein."
An Martha Alamillas Seite steht und hört zu, wie sie ihren Glaubenswechsel beschreibt, Leslie Camarillo.
Camarillo war mit einem ähnlichen Glaubensverlust an die Katholische Kirche konfrontiert und ist seit drei Jahren eine praktizierende Muslima. Camarillo berichtet, dass sie, seit der Zeit als sie Kind war, die Lehre der Kirche in Frage gestellt hat.
"Ich fand die Kirche scheinheilig, als ich Kind war," bemerkt Camarillo. "Jedes Mal wenn ich Darstellungen von Feuer und Flammen sah, war ich verängstigt und hatte Angst vor Gott."
Teil dieser Scheinheiligkeit kann man in dem Konzept der Trinität finden, bekennt sie.
"Zu dieser Trinität. Wie kommt es, dass Gott so herrlich ist, dass er menschlich sein möchte und es zulässt, dass er getötet wird, aber gleichzeitig unsterblich im Himmel ist?" fragt sie rhetorisch.
Camarillo scheut sich nicht, ihre persönliche Suche nach ihrem Glauben zu teilen. Wie Alamilla ist sie in einer katholischen Familie aufgewachsen.
"Ich habe immer über Gott nachgedacht," sagt Camarillo in einem unaufdringlichen, ruhigen Ton. "Ich habe immer geglaubt, dass es einen Beherrscher oder Gott gibt, der alles erschaffen hat."
"Ich testete viele Religionen. Hinduismus, Buddhismus, Christentum und viele andere," erzählt sie. "Mein persönliches Leben war sehr liberal, ich probierte viele Drogen und Zeugs. Es ist nicht schlecht für mich gewesen, denn jetzt weiß ich, was gut und was falsch ist…Ich versprach mir selbst, sobald ich eine Religion gefunden habe, die wahrhaftig ohne Zweifel alle meine Fragen beantwortet, werde ich sie annehmen."
Camarillo sagt, sie sähe im Islam Lehren, die sie mit anderen teilen könnte, die auf der Suche nach etwas seien, an das sie glauben könnten.
"Ich kann Jungs und Mädchen beraten, die auf der Suche sind," versichert sie. "Die entscheidende Sache ist, dass deine Verbindung mit Gott eindeutig ist."
Laut einer Abhandlung, die 2011 von Camila Pastor de Maria y Campos, einer Professorin am Forschungszentrum 'Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas' in Mexico City, veröffentlicht wurde, gäbe es noch andere Gründe, warum einige Mexikaner zum Islam konvertieren. In ihrem Bericht "Um ein neuer Muslim in Mexiko zu sein: Volkswirtschaftslehre des Glaubens," schreibt Campos, dass der Islam für einige Konvertiten eine Kennzeichnung für eine weltoffene Differenzierung biete, und das Tragen des Hijabs würde bei Frauen als modisch angesehen.

Ketinggiannya 1,10 m dari permukaan tanah. Ia tertanam di dinding Ka'bah. Dahulu, Hajar Aswad berupa satu batu yang berdiameter ± 30 cm. Akibat berbagai peristiwa yang menimpanya selama ini, sekarang Hajar Aswad tersisa delapan butir batu kecil sebesar kurma yang dikelilingi oleh bingkai perak. Namun, tidak semua yang terdapat di dalam bingkai adalah Hajar Aswad. Butiran Hajar Aswad tepat berada di tengah bingkai. Butiran inilah yang disentuh dan dicium oleh jamaah haji. Hajar Aswad berasal dari surga. Awalnya batu ini berwarna putih. Namun, dia menjadi hitam disebabkan oleh dosa manusia. Dalam sebuah hadits shahih yang diriwayatkan oleh At-Tirmidzi, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda yang artinya, "Hajar Aswad turun dari surga dalam keadaan lebih putih daripada susu. Lalu, karena dosa-dosa Bani (anak-anak) Adam lah yang membuatnya hitam." Demikianlah, bagian dalam Hajar Aswad berwarna putih, sedangkan bagian luarnya berwarna hitam. Hajar Aswad selalu dimuliakan, baik pada masa Jahiliah, maupun setelah Islam datang. Hingga, pada musim haji tahun 317 H, saat dunia Islam sangat lemah dan bercerai berai, kesempatan ini dimanfaatkan oleh Abu Thahir Al-Qurmuthi, seorang kepala salah satu suku Syi'ah Ismailiyah di Jazirah Arab bagian timur, untuk merampas Hajar Aswad. Dengan 700 anak buah bersenjata lengkap dia mendobrak Masjid Al-Haram dan membongkar Ka'bah secara paksa lalu merebut Hajar Aswad dan mengangkutnya ke negaranya yang terletak di kota Ahsa' yang terletak di wilayah Bahrain, kawasan Teluk Persia sekarang. Kemudian, ia membuat maklumat dengan menantang umat Islam. Inti dari maklumat itu, jika ingin mengambil Hajar Aswad, tebuslah dengan sejumlah uang yang pada saat itu sangat berat bagi umat Islam atau dengan perang. Baru setelah 22 tahun (tahun 339 H) batu itu dikembalikan ke Mekah oleh Khalifah Abbasiyah Al-Muthi' lillah setelah ditebus dengan uang sebanyak 30.000 Dinar. Mereka membawanya ke Kufah, lalu menggantungkannya ke tiang ke tujuh Masjid Jami'. Setelah itu, mereka mengembalikannya ke tempat semula. Umso wichtiger ist es das wir immer wieder Lebensmittel-Pakete ausliefern können. Über 30.000 sind es schon an der Zahl und dank Allah seiner Fügung der uns euch tolle Spender gab können viele Kinder wieder lachen, Augen müssen nicht mehr weinen und Bäuche haben wieder Fleisch bekommen.
