Da nimmt die Ameise ein Teil der Wespe und sagt: Wer, wie du, nur das tut, was ihm spaß macht, mit dem nimmt es kein gutes Ende.

    Al-Sudais honors Dutch revert Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Two Holy Mosques, on Tuesday honored Arnoud van Doorn, a prominent Dutch politician who embraced Islam, by conferring on him his cloak. Van Doorn was a leading member of the rightist Freedom Party of Geert Wilders who produced "Fitna" film abusing the Prophet (peace be upon him). The heart-warming event took place at the opening of a conference on Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. The conference's participants, including academics and religious scholars, applauded Sudais' gesture. "This again reflects the greatness and truthfulness of Islam as a divine religion," said Fuad Kawther, an engineer interested in dawa activities. He also pointed out that some of the staunch enemies of the Prophet used to stand near by his house during the night to listen to his recitation from the Holy Qur'an. "Three staunch enemies — Abu Jahl, Abu Sufiyan and Uqbat — agreed among themselves not to visit the Prophet's house to secretly listen to the verses from the Qur'an, but broke that deal and visited the house again and again because they could not resist the divine word and also because they were fascinated by the literary beauty of the Qur'an," Kawther told Arab News. The embracing of Islam by Van Doorn and many other Westerners shows that it is the true and final religion, Kawther said. "Islam will spread all over the world despite the smear campaign against the religion and its Prophet." He also referred to the American guard at Guantanamo Bay prison, Terry Holdbrooks, Jr., 29, who accepted Islam after months of midnight conversations with Muslim detainees. People go to extreme lengths in attacking Islam without trying to understand the divine teachings. "Before embracing Islam, Van Doorn was abusing the Prophet and Muslims, although they had not done him any harm. Allah guided him to the right path and he became a Muslim," he said. Kawther commended Sheikh Sudais for his noble gesture. "This shows the magnanimity and tolerance of Islam. Gifting someone's cloak to show his love and admiration toward the recipient is a nice Saudi tradition," he said and hoped it would encourage more people to study about Islam and Muslims. In an interview with Arab News in April this year, Van Doorn acknowledged that his views on Islam were formed 10 to 15 years ago based solely on negative stereotypes and prejudices spread by the media. He expressed sorrow and regret for distributing Fitna, although he had no part in the film's production. He intends to make a film about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to present a true picture of Islam.

    FACADE DIPLOMACY: US SEEKING PAKISTAN'S HELP TO START NEGOTIATIONS WITH TALIBAN December 10, 2013 - Any negotiations with the Taliban will probably be a mere facade, defense analyst Ivan Eland told RT, because Pakistan desperately wants influence in a post-US Afghanistan, for which it has to support the Afghan Taliban, who are winning the war. Senior Fellow and Director of the Center on Peace and Liberty at the Independent Institute, Ivan Eland, also predicted that drone strikes will inevitably continue as long as possible, despite the fact that more Islamist extremists are created this way than are actually eliminated. RT: This is the first visit of a Pentagon chief to Pakistan in four years. Can the cracks be smoothed over while the drone strikes continue? Ivan Eland: The Pakistanis look the other way. They protest sometimes about the drone strikes, but they look the other way, so I think the US relationship with Pakistan is always on the knife's edge. And of course the US pulling out has put a new element into that, but I think Hagel is there to try and negotiate. And I think, actually, US-Pakistani relations are getting better, whereas US-Afghan relations, with Khamid Karzai, are probably worse now than they have been. RT: Is America really interested in helping relations or are they looking at the bottom line of supplying troops in Afghanistan through Pakistan? IE: I think they want to withdraw their troops, but they also want a continuing presence in Afghanistan. And of course they still need the Pakistanis to help out, hopefully by pressuring the Taliban for the peace negotiations. But I doubt that's going to happen, because the Taliban are winning the war, and they know that most of the US forces at least are going to be leaving - that's a big inhibitor for peace negotiations no matter how much pressure the Pakistanis put on them. That's about the only card the US has to play in Afghanistan anymore, trying to get the Pakistanis to pressure the Taliban to negotiate with the Afghan government. You know, the US could apply more aid or threats or whatever, but it's still going to be a tough go to get the Taliban to negotiate with the government. (AFP Photo/A Majeed) RT: In October, the family of a woman killed by a drone strike, including a little girl, testified before the Congress, but there was little reaction from lawmakers, why? IE: If the Pakistanis don't pressure the Taliban to negotiate with the Afghan government then the US government is kind of overlooked. I think there's going to be a heightened civil war. Of course the drone strikes in Pakistan always, from day one, have been hitting targets that the Pakistani government wanted to hit. That is the Taliban, which is different and fights the Pakistani government. The US has been hitting them as well as the Afghan Taliban which the Pakistanis support. So it's a very convoluted situation. Really, when it comes down to it, Pakistan which is supposed to be a US ally is also the principal supporter of the Afghan Taliban which is fighting the US supported government. So the US situation with Pakistan has always been extremely complicated, including the drone strikes. And I think the drone strikes will continue as long as the US can do so, unfortunately. RT: Given the mistrust that already exists between the two countries, including allegations of Pakistani official support for terrorism and the killing of Bin Laden in the country. How much more strain can the relationship take? IE: I think the US withdrawing from Afghanistan eases the tension a little bit in one respect, but on the other hand the US is getting more desperate to get some sort of a settlement, so when it does withdraw the most part of its troops, or maybe even all of them, if Khamid Karzai doesn't play ball with the US, then you could see more pressure from the US on Pakistan to get the Afghan Taliban to negotiate. (AFP Photo) So in one sense the US pulling its troops out may help out because Pakistan desperately wants influence in a post-US Afghanistan, so it is still supporting the Taliban, but they are also under pressure from the US to get the same Afghan Taliban to negotiate. Maybe the solution for Pakistan is to just pretend that the Taliban is negotiating. Really, the Taliban will have great influence in the post-US Afghanistan, no matter what I think. These negotiations – if there are any - any meaningful negotiations will probably be somewhat of a facade I think. RT: What choice does the US have if Pakistan fails to tackle the Taliban and other militant groups except to launch drone strikes? IE: I think it's a bit embarrassing. One of the problems of the drone strikes is that they do kill Al-Qaeda people, but they also kill innocent Pakistanis. The same is true in Afghanistan, of course. This is a problem - that you may be creating more terrorists than you are killing. And this woman is an emblematic of that. And I don't think anybody in the US, including members of the Congress at that hearing, really want to face up to the fact that the drone wars may be really unsuccessful. They are tactically successful in killing some militants, but they are strategically a disaster, because they are creating more animosity and therefore generating more Islamic terrorism – and not only for the US, but I think for the other parties involved as well.     In Syrien ist offenbar ein junger Dschihadist kurz nach seiner Ankunft aus Frankfurt am Main getötet worden. Er wurde 16 Jahre alt. Im Internet feiern ihn seine Glaubensbrüder als "Märtyrer".


    Die islamistische Szene in Deutschland kennt derzeit nur ein Thema: Syrien. Wie kaum eine andere Region zieht das Bürgerkriegsland am Mittelmeer derzeit radikale Islamisten aus aller Welt magnetisch an. Mehr als tausend Dschihadisten aus Europa sollen inzwischen auf Seiten der Rebellengruppen gegen das Assad-Regime kämpfen. Unter ihnen mindestens 200 Islamisten aus Deutschland.

    Die Sicherheitsbehörden sind aufgrund dieser Entwicklung seit Monaten alarmiert. Woche für Woche reisen junge Muslime aus Deutschland nach Syrien. Die meisten von ihnen sind deutsche Staatsbürger, einige sogar noch minderjährig. So wie "Enes".

    Der 16-jährige Deutsch-Türke aus Frankfurt am Main soll erst vor wenigen Tagen in dem Bürgerkriegsland angekommen sein. Und er ist offenbar schon tot. Im Internet feiern ihn seine Glaubensbrüder als "Märtyrer".

    "Enes erreichte Aleppo erst vor drei Tagen und ist schon ein Shahid (Märtyrer)", heißt es in einem Internet-Eintrag zum Tod des Frankfurters.     Dies ist ein weiterer Beitrag aus der Reihe "In Richtung Licht", in dem wir Sie durch eine Kurzexegese näher mit dem Inhalt des Korans vertraut machen.

    Die Besprechung der Sure Hidschr, Sure 15 ging im letzten Beitrag zu Ende. Wir wenden uns der nächsten Sure zu. Die 16. Sure im Koran ist die Sure Nahl mit 128 Verszeichen. Da in dieser Sure unter anderem von der Honigbiene und ihrer Erschaffung gesprochen wird, wurde sie Nahl (die Biene) genannt. Auch andere Koransuren tragen wie diese Tiernamen. Dies ist ein Hinweis auf die Beziehung zwischen zwei Büchern gleichen Ursprungs: dem Gesetzbuch Gottes, Koran, und dem Buch der Schöpfung. Kommentatoren datieren die Offenbarung der ersten 40 Verse der Sure 16, Sure Nahl, in die Zeit zurück, in der der Prophet noch in Mekka war. Die darauffolgenden 88 Verse seien nach seiner Auswanderung auf ihn herabgesandt worden.

    Auch der Sure Nahl gehen wieder die Worte

    „Im Namen Gottes, des Allerbarmers, des Gütigen" voraus.

    Die ersten beiden Verse lauten:

    (16: 1- 6)

    أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ اللَّـهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
    "Die Entscheidung Gottes ist gekommen.- Darum verlangt keine Beschleunigung! Gepriesen sei er! Er ist erhaben über das, was sie (ihm an anderen Göttern) beigesellen." (16: 1)

    يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ بِالرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرُوا أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاتَّقُونِ
    "Er lässt die Engel mit dem Geist von seinem Logos herabkommen, auf wen von Seinen Dienern er will (mit dem Auftrag):,Warnt (die Menschen und verkündet), dass es keinen Gott gibt außer Mir! Mich (allein) sollt ihr fürchten.`" (16: 2)

    Diese Verse sind an die Götzendiener von Mekka gerichtet. Diese trieben ihren Spott mit dem Propheten des Islams und sagten: "Wann wird denn die Strafe, die du uns verheißt, eintreten?" Der Koran mahnt sie wegen ihrer Eile und erklärt: Die Entscheidung Gottes für euch ist im Kommen und ihr werdet die göttliche Strafe erfahren. Beeilt euch also nicht grundlos. Anschließend wird darauf hingewiesen, dass die Engel mit der belebenden göttlichen Offenbarung denjenigen erscheinen, die es würdig sind, eine Offenbarung zu erhalten. Gott erklärt den Götzendienern, dass sie nichts daran ändern können und nicht erwarten sollten, dass jemand, der in ihren Augen würdig ist, eine göttliche Offenbarung erhält.

    Die Propheten rufen die Menschen nicht zu sich, sondern zu Gott, dem Einen und Einzigen herbei, damit sie keine falschen Götter mehr anbeten.

    Es ist zu beachten, dass im Koran öfters das Wort "Ruh" vorkommt. Dieses Wort hat Bedeutungen wie "Geist" und "Leben". Im Vers 2 der Sure Nahl ist mit diesem Wort, in obiger Übersetzung also mit "Geist von Seinem Logos", die göttliche Offenbarung, welche Mensch und Gesellschaft belebt, gemeint, genauso wie in dem Vers 52 der Sure Schura, Sure 42, der Satz, der das Wort "Ruh" enthält, wie folgt übersetzt werden kann : "Und so haben Wir dir (Prophet) Geist von unserem Logos eingegeben". Die Verwendung des Wortes "Ruh", welches auch "Leben" bedeutet, weist darauf hin, dass der Mensch durch die Offenbarung spirituell belebt wird.

    Noch folgende zwei Punkte:

    Erstens: Wir sollten nicht überstürzt von Gott etwas fordern. Gott handelt weise und zum geeigneten Zeitpunkt.

    Zweitens: Der Glaube an Gott setzt voraus, dass wir darauf Acht geben, nicht gegen Seine Gebote zu verstoßen. Der religiöse Terminus für diese Abstinenz ist "Gottesfürchtigkeit", auf arabisch "Taqwa".

    Die Verse 3 und 4 der Sure 16 enthalten nun folgendes:

    خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ تَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
    "Er hat Himmel und Erde in Weisheit erschaffen. Und er ist erhaben über das, was sie (Ihm als Götter) beigesellen." (16: 3)

    خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
    "Er hat den Menschen aus einem (unscheinbaren) Tropfen geschaffen. Und gleich ist er ausgesprochen streitsüchtig (gegenüber Gott)." (16: 4)

    In diesen beiden Versen wird an die Erschaffung der Himmel und der Erde und von uns Menschen durch den Allmächtigen erinnert. Die Götzendiener sollen sich fragen, wieso sie die Allmacht Gottes leugnen und andere, die auf keine Weise an den Schöpfungsakten mitbeteiligt waren, als Teilhaber neben Gott stellen. Wieso stellen sie sich streitsüchtig und rechthaberisch gegen Gott? Wieso leugnen sie, dass Gott sie am Jüngsten Tag wieder erschaffen kann? Der Koran fragt die Menschen: Durch wessen Macht konntet ihr euch aus einem unscheinbaren Tropfen auf diese Weise entwickeln? Besitzt etwa der, der euch erschuf, nicht die Macht, euch erneut ins Leben zu rufen, dass ihr auf diese Weise die Auferstehung von den Toten in Frage stellt?!

    Wir können uns merken:

    Erstens: Die Vorstellung, dass es einen anderen Gott außer Gott gibt ist hinfällig. Kein Mensch oder anderes Lebewesen hat bislang behauptet, an seiner eigenen Erschaffung oder Schöpfung der anderen Lebewesen mitgewirkt zu haben.

    Zweitens: Der Mensch ist dermaßen hochmütig, dass er seinem eigenen Schöpfer und seinem Herrn herausfordernd begegnet.

    Wir schließen mit den Versen 5 und 6 der Sure 16:

    وَالْأَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا ۗ لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
    "Und Gott erschuf das Vieh. Es bietet euch (durch seine Wolle) die Möglichkeit, euch zu bedecken und warm zu halten, und ist euch von großem Nutzen. Und ihr könnt davon (Fleisch) essen (und Milch trinken)." (16: 5)

    وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ
    "Auch findet ihr es schön, wenn ihr es (abends) von den Weiden zurückholt und morgens zum Weiden bringt." (16: 6)

    Diese Koranverse erinnern zusammengefasst an den Nutzen der Tiere für die Menschen. Sie können ihr Leder und Wollhaar für Schuhwerk und Bekleidung verwenden und sich von ihrem Fleisch und ihrer Milch ernähren. Das Vieh dient auch bei fehlender Mechanisierung der Landwirtschaft zum Pflügen des Ackers, es kann Lasten tragen, usw. Im Vergleich zu dem Segen, den das Vieh dem Menschen bringt, macht es ihm relativ wenig Mühe. Wenn das Vieh zum Weiden gebracht oder wieder zurückgeholt wird, bietet es dem Menschen sogar einen schönen erfreulichen Anblick.

    Im Islam wird übrigens als erstes besonders der Ackerbau empfohlen, aber die Viehzucht folgt an zweiter Stelle als wichtige Tätigkeit.

    Wir möchten noch folgende Überlegungen anstellen:

    Erstens: Das Vieh ist für den Menschen erschaffen worden, so wie die anderen Dinge in der Daseinswelt. Der Mensch soll also diese Dinge richtig nutzen. Gott hat ihre Nutznießung erlaubt. Die Nutzung ist also halal.

    Zweitens: Das Ansehen einer Gesellschaft hängt von dem Einsatz und der Produktion im Dienste der Gemeinschaft ab und nicht davon, dass jeder nur daran denkt, wie er sich selber ernährt.

    Sebelumnya telah kami beritakan bahwa dalam sebuah serangan tentara thaghut suriah, brother Abu Thalhah mengalami cidera berat dan harus dirawat intensif di sebuah rumah sakit di Aleppo.

    Sempat terjadi kesimpangsiuran berita, karena salah seorang komandan mujahidin Ahrar Syam mengucapkan kesyahidannya melalui akun jejaring sosial twitter.

    Ob man diesen Zer-Allahu-Akbarten wohl danach auch noch umarmt hat? Der eine einen Arm, der andere einen Fuß und der Obermörder den Kopf? Vielleicht sollte man die Milchbrötchen-Abus und Mauerblümchen-Umms mal vor Ort schicken, auf dass sie uns von der ganzen Schönheit berichten mögen. Und auch von der Freude in den Augen, die die Opfer vor der Zerstückelung haben, konnte ich die wegen der trüben Linse ja nicht richtig sehen.Wobei ich für letzteres ja wirklich dankbar bin, zieht ja mein Magen ohnehin gerade in den Jihad. Ich fürchte, er gewinnt.

    Der Norden der arabischen Welt ist von Sturm und heftigen Niederschlägen heimgesucht worden. Im Libanon wurden nach einem Schneesturm landesweit die Schulen geschlossen. Syrische Flüchtlinge, die im Osten des Landes leben, baten die libanesische Regierung und die Vereinten Nationen um Hilfe. Im Bezirk Al-Mardsch wurden 15 Flüchtlingszelte vom Regen weggespült.

    The claim was posted on the right-wing website, FreePatriot.org, in an article titled "Muslim Mob Justice–15 year old girl thrown from Third Floor window."

    Free Patriot has a half million Facebook fans and after the article was shared on its page it went viral on the Islamophobia industry's interwebs.

    Rick Wells who authored the post claimed that the picture was of a girl thrown from a third floor window by Muslims,

    In a truly outrageous demonstration of the lawlessness that exists in Egypt today, the Muslim residents of a small village in southern Minya province went on a rampage. They attacked Christian homes, burning 10 of them. 15 Christians were wounded, including a 15 year-old girl who was thrown from the third floor of a building. The report is from Ezzat Ibrahim, a minority rights activist.

    Wells made the story about the image up whole cloth.

    The real story behind the image: It is actually from June, 2011 and takes place in Shanghai, China not Minya, Egypt and the woman was not thrown out of the window but rather fell from the fifth floor!:

    Vielleicht koennte man das unseren Nicht-muslimischen Freunden, Familie, Arbeitskollegen und Nachbarn zu ihren kommendne "Festtage" zusenden.
    Wenn sie mit Verstand lesen, oeffnet sich, wenn auch ueber Umwegen doch ein Blick und ein Weg zur SCHOENHEIT DES ISLAMS !

    Weihnachten – Ein Vermächtnis Babylons
    Weihnachten ist ein christliches Fest – Das glauben zumindest fast alle Menschen auf unserem Planeten. Viele Christen sind sogar überzeugt, dass Weihnachten ein biblisches, heiliges und gesegnetes Fest ist. Wenn man jedoch diese Feier bis zu ihren Ursprüngen zurückverfolgt, kann man erkennen, dass Weihnachten alles andere als ein „christliches" Fest ist. Im Gegenteil, nicht nur die Bibel warnt davor, sondern auch zahlreiche Enzyklopädien, Geschichtsbücher und Kommentare bestätigen den tiefen heidnischen Ursprung dieses angeblich christlichen Festes. So schreibt z.B. die Encyclopedia Britannica von 1946 unter „Christmas":
    „Weihnachten wurde weder von Christus oder den Aposteln eingeführt, noch gründet es sich auf die Autorität der Bibel. Es wurde erst später vom Heidentum übernommen."
    "Lernt nicht den Weg der Heiden und erschreckt nicht vor den Zeichen des Himmels, auch wenn die Heiden sich vor ihnen fürchten! Denn die Bräuche der Heiden sind nichtig. Denn ein Holz ist's, das man im Wald gehauen hat und das der Künstler mit dem Schnitzmesser anfertigt. Er verziert es mit Silber und Gold und befestigt es mit Hämmern und Nägeln, damit es nicht wackelt; sie sind gedrechselten Palmbäumen gleich, sie können nicht reden; man muss sie tragen, denn sie können nicht gehen. Fürchtet euch nicht vor ihnen, denn sie können nichts Böses tun, und auch Gutes zu tun steht nicht in ihrer Macht!"
    (Jeremia 10,3-5)
    „Ihr sollt euch durch all diese Dinge nicht verunreinigen. Denn durch das alles haben sich die Heiden verunreinigt, die ich vor euch her austreibe, und dadurch ist das Land verunreinigt worden, und ich suchte ihre Schuld an ihm heim, sodass das Land seine Einwohner ausspeit. Ihr aber sollt meine Satzungen und Rechtsbestimmungen halten und keinen dieser Gräuel verüben, weder der Einheimische noch der Fremdling, der in eurer Mitte wohnt … Denn jeder, der einen dieser Gräuel tut — die Seelen, die dergleichen verüben, sollen ausgerottet werden aus der Mitte ihres Volkes. So haltet denn meine Verordnungen, dass ihr keinen von den gräulichen Gebräuchen übt, die man vor euch geübt hat, und euch nicht durch sie verunreinigt. Ich, … bin euer Gott!"


    (3. Mose 18,24-30)
    „Hüte dich, dass du dich nicht verführen lässt, sie nachzuahmen, nachdem sie doch vor dir her vertilgt worden sind, und dass du nicht nach ihren Göttern fragst und sagst: Wie dienten diese Heiden ihren Göttern? Ich will es ebenso tun! Du sollst … [JAHUWAH], deinem Gott, nicht auf diese Weise dienen, denn alles, was ein Gräuel ist für … [JAHUWAH], was er hasst, haben sie für ihre Götter getan; ja, sogar ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter haben sie für ihre Götter im Feuer verbrannt!"
    (5. Mose 12,30-31)
    In Deutschland wird der „heilige Nikolaus" meist noch von seinem düsteren Gehilfen Knecht Ruprecht oder „Krampus" begleitet. Krampus ist ein böser Dämon oder der Teufel selbst, der meist eine scheppernde Kette, eine Rute und einen Sack dabei hat, um die „bösen" Kinder zu bestrafen. Warum kommt der „heilige Nikolaus" zusammen mit dem Teufel?
    Warum nur setzen Eltern ihre Kinder in den Schoß des Nikolaus oder Santa Claus und lehren sie Mythen über ihn? Wenn man das Wort „Santa" anders anordnet, ergibt es „Satan".
    H.P. Blavatsky, Satanistin und Vorreiterin des New Age und der modernen Esoterik, schreibt in The Secret Doctrine, Bd. II, S. 350: „Der Name ist nicht wichtig. Es sind die Buchstaben." Interessanterweise wird der englische Name „Claus" genauso ausgesprochen wie „claws" (deutsch: Klauen). Mit anderen Worten: Satans Klauen. Eltern geben ihre Kinder in die Klauen Satans.
    Kindern wird mit der Verehrung Santa Claus unterschwellig die Anbetung Satans, des großen Betrügers, beigebracht. Dies legt auch der Ausruf „Ho! Ho! Ho!" des Nikolauses oder Santas nahe. Woher kommt dieses Ho! Ho! Ho!?
    Es kommt von den mittelalterlichen Mysterienspielen. „In diesen Spielen war die gewöhnliche Einstiegszeile des Teufels – bekannt als das ‚Wutgeschrei des Teufels' – das ‚Ho! Ho! Ho!'" (Siefker, Phyllis. Santa Claus, Last oft he Wild Men: The Origins and Evolution of Saint Nicholaus, 1997, S. 69).
    Auch der Mistelzweig gilt seit frühester Zeit als mysteriös und heilig, er ist das Symbol der Sonne, Lebensspender, Aphrodisiakum und Schutz gegen Krankheit. Die Pflanze war besonders heilig für die keltischen Druiden, die sie im Gebet den Göttern darbrachten. Man glaubte, der Saft der Mistelbeeren sei der Same der Götter. Wenn ein Mann einen Mistelzweig über den Kopf einer Frau hielt, so würde sie seinen sexuellen Annäherungen nicht widerstehen können. Das Küssen unter dem Mistelzweig ist ebenfalls ein Überbleibsel der sexuellen Ausschweifungen während der Saturnalien.
    Sogar katholische Quellen erkennen an, dass Weihnachten nicht zu den ursprünglich apostolischen Festen gehörte. So heißt es in der Katholischen Enzyklopädie:
    „Das Datum der Geburt Christi ist unbekannt. In den Evangelien wird weder der Tag noch der Monat genannt …. Nach der Hypothese, die H. Usener aufstellte ….. und die meisten Gelehrten heute anerkennen, legte man die Geburt Christi auf den Tag der Wintersonnenwende fest (25. Dezember nach dem Julianischen Kalender, 6. Januar nach dem ägyptischen Kalender), weil die Mithraverehrer an dem Tag, an dem die Sonne den südlichen Wendekreis passiert und nach Norden zurückzukehren beginnt, das Fest „Dies natalis solis invicti" (Geburtstag der unbesiegten Sonne) feierten. Am 25. Dezember 274 n. Chr. ließ Aurelian den Sonnengott als „Herrn des Reiches" ausrufen und weihte ihm auf dem Marsfeld einen Tempel. Das Weihnachtsfest kam zu einer Zeit auf, als der Sonnenkult in Rom besonders eifrig betrieben wurde" (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Bd. III, S. 656).
    Sogar katholische Quellen erkennen an, dass Weihnachten nicht zu den ursprünglich apostolischen Festen gehörte. So heißt es in der Katholischen Enzyklopädie:
    „Das Datum der Geburt Christi ist unbekannt. In den Evangelien wird weder der Tag noch der Monat genannt …. Nach der Hypothese, die H. Am 25. Dezember 274 n. Chr. ließ Aurelian den Sonnengott als „Herrn des Reiches" ausrufen und weihte ihm auf dem Marsfeld einen Tempel. Das Weihnachtsfest kam zu einer Zeit auf, als der Sonnenkult in Rom besonders eifrig betrieben wurde" (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Bd. III, S. 656).
