    Thalaba Ibn AbdulRahman was a young man at the age of 16. He always ran errands for the prophet pbuh. One day while walking though the city of Medina, he passed by a house with an open door. Out of curiosity he took a glance inside. In this glance, he saw a light curtain being blown away from a bathroom entrance were a woman was bathing. He lowered his gaze.

    With an extreme feeling of guilt and hypocrisy his mind ran. Thinking to himself, ?How could I be of the companions, one that is close to the prophet pbuh, one who runs his errands and be so horrible as to disrespect peoples privacy??..

    He feared that Allah would reveal to the prophet pbuh evidence of his hypocrisy. His guilt denied him to ever show his face to the prophet pbuh. So he ran away. Days went by and the prophet kept asking the other companions if they had seen Thalaba. No one had seen him. With the prophet's worry about Thalaba he sent a few of the companions to look for him everywhere, among them were Omar Ibn Al Khattab and Salman Al Farisiy.

    They looked everywhere in Medina, and on the out skirts of Madina, until they came about a set of mountains between Mecca and Medina where some nomads where herding sheep. The companions asked the nomads if they had seen a young man with Thalaba's characteristics. They told the companions about a weeping boy. He had been here for 40 days. He came down from the mountains once a day weeping and drank the milk they would offer him. Then he went back up the mountains weeping, crying, always asking for Allah for forgiveness, and saying words of repentance.

    So the companions waited until he came down and watched him. He had lost weight. His countenance reflected sorrow as he drank the milk that was mixed with his tears.

    The companions insisted that they take him back to the prophet pbuh but he refused and asked them if Allah had revealed verses saying he was a hypocrite. They told him that they had no knowledge of any such verses. He was taken back to Medina where the prophet pbuh went to see him. He asked again if Allah had put

    The prophet pbuh assured him that there were no such verses. He laid out Thalaba's tired, weak body and placed Thalaba's head on his lap. He said, "Oh prophet of Allah remove the head of a sinner away from you." The prophet pbuh comforted him until he told the prophet pbuh "I feel as though ants are walking between my flesh and bones."

    The prophet told him it was death and his time had come.

    He witnessed while Thalaba's head was on his lap, Thalaba proclaim "There is no god worthy of worship other than Allah, and that Mohamed pbuh is the messenger of Allah".The prophet pbuh washed Thalaba and carried him to the grave.

    It is narrated that on their way to bury Thalaba, the prophet pbuh walked on his tippy toes as though he were in a crowd.

    When Omar asked about this, the prophet pbuh explained .....that he was being crowded with the angels...

    *Ya Allah... How many sins do we commit per day and don't feel a fraction guilty as Thalaba??? Ya Allah guide us!!*

    Contemplation is one of the greatest deeds performed by the heart; it is the key that opens the door which allows the light of guidance to enter; it is the initial step in the direction of correct understanding and comprehension; many people know its virtue but are unaware of its reality, essence and its fruits. Allaah Has commanded us to contemplate, but few do so. He also praises the few who actually do.

    Allaah says:
    الذين يذكرون االله قياما ً وقعودا ً وعلى جنوبهم ويتفكرون في خلق السموات والأرض ربنا ما خلقت هذا باطلا ً

    which means: "[Those] Who remember Allaah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], 'Our Lord! You did not create this aimlessly...'" [Aal 'Imraan: 191]

    HELMAND, Dec. 14 – Officials reporting from Gezab district say that Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate broke out 15 inmates from the district prison using a special tactic last night.

    The inmates, 5 of whom were Mujahideen and 10 others ordinary villagers, were later transferred to a secure location.

    Viele Muslime beschäftigen sich eher den ganzen Tag damit, in welchem Produkt welche E-Einheit steckt, anstatt sich um die Pflichten zu kümmern.
    Ja es ist wichtig zu wissen, was wir in diesem Land essen dürfen und nicht, aber dies sollten wir nicht zur Priorität unseres Dins machen.
    Es gibt Muslime, die nicht mal wissen was Kalifat ist, aber dir ganze E-Tabelle auswendig können.
    Wacht endlich auf !
    Wenn wir ein Kalifat haben, haben wir auch keine E-Probleme mehr !!!!
    Also tut was dagegen!

    Viele Muslime beschäftigen sich eher den ganzen Tag damit, in welchem Produkt welche E-Einheit steckt, anstatt sich um die Pflichten zu kümmern.
    Ja es ist wichtig zu wissen, was wir in diesem Land essen dürfen und nicht, aber dies sollten wir nicht zur Priorität unseres Dins machen.

    Wir befinden uns im ständigen Kampf der Ideen, Haqq gegen Batil.
    Wenn wir aufhören uns mit Haqq zu beschäftigen, zerstören wir uns selbst und unser Intellekt wird immer schwächer, bis unsere Abwehr, durch die Verständnisse des Islams versagen und die Ideen der Kufar bei uns Eingang finden.

    Könntet ihr, wenn möglich, diese Fatwa weiter leiten?

    Fatwa: Darf eine Frau Bilder von sich auf Facebook posten?

    Frage:

    Was ist das Urteil bezüglich einer Frau, die Bilder von sich auf Facebook veröffentlicht? Einige Schwestern glauben, dass dies nicht haram ist, wenn sie Bilder von sich in Hijab veröffentlichen. Könnten Sie mir das erklären, damit ich ihnen evtl. eine Nasiha geben kann?
    Antwort:

    Erhaben ist Allah,

    Es ist haram für eine Frau ein Bild von sich auf Facebook und anderen Internetseiten zu posten, und zwar aus sehr vielen Gründen:

    1. Es widerspricht dem Sinn der Bedeckung und Verbergung, die den Frauen laut Quran und Sunnah auferlegt ist. Allah sagt bezüglich den ehrenwertesten Frauen, nämlich den Frauen des Propheten, im Quran:

    "Und wenn ihr sie um etwas bittet, so bittet sie hinter einem Vorhang. Das ist reiner für eure Herzen und ihre Herzen." (33:53)

    "O Prophet, sag deinen Gattinnen und deinen Töchtern und den Frauen der Gläubigen, sie sollen etwas von ihrem Überwurf über sich herunterziehen. Das ist eher geeignet, daß sie erkannt und so nicht belästigt werden. Und Allah ist Allvergebend und Barmherzig." (33:59)

    "O Frauen des Propheten, ihr seid nicht wie irgendeine von den (übrigen) Frauen. Wenn ihr gottesfürchtig seid, dann seid nicht unterwürfig im Reden, damit nicht derjenige, in dessen Herzen Krankheit ist, begehrlich wird, sondern sagt geziemende Worte." (33:32)

    Demnach hat Allah, Erhaben ist Er, den Frauen des Propheten und generell den gläubigen Frauen den Hijab auferlegt, um die Herzen der gläubigen Frauen zu reinigen und sie vor allem zu schützen, das zur Versuchung und Verdächtigung führen könnte, damit ihre Keuschheit und die der gläubigen Männer bewahrt bleibt. Sobald dies verstanden wurde, ist es klar, dass es ein Widerspruch zu den Lehren des Islams darstellt, dass eine Frau Bilder von sich im Internet verbreitet, wo es sowohl von rechtschaffenen Männern als auch von Übeltätern gesehen werden kann.

    2. Es öffnet die Tür des Bösen und der Versuchung für die Frau und für diejenigen, die sie sehen. Wie oft haben wir schon schmerzhafte Geschichten gelesen, die dadurch entstanden sind. Wie viele reine und keusche Frauen sind schon auf solche Übeltäter, die Allah nicht fürchten, reingefallen. Sie haben sie mit romantischen Worten und falschen Versprechungen gelockt. Und als sie ihre Begierde an diesen Frauen gestillt hatten, haben sie ihnen kaltblütig den Rücken gekehrt und sie mit nichts als Reue, Verlust und wahrscheinlich auch Schande – im Diesseits und im Jenseits – stehen gelassen. Gott bewahre!

    Wie viele Übeltäter haben an Bildern von unschuldigen Frauen herumgepfuscht und ihre Gesichter mittels moderner Technologie an den Körpern von unmoralischen, sittenlosen Frauen drangehängt? Dann wird es großes Bedauern geben. Aber hier wird das Bedauern nichts mehr nutzen.

    3. Was deine Erwähnung angeht von einigen Frauen, die Hijab tragen und denken, dass es nicht haram ist, wenn sie Bilder von sich im Hijab veröffentlichen. Wenn du mit Hijab den ordentlichen islam-gerechten Hijab meinst, wo das Gesicht der Frauen nicht sichtbar ist, dann geht das in Ordnung.

    Aber wenn damit gemeint ist, dass man ein Bild von einer Frau postet, deren Gesicht zu sehen ist, auch wenn der Rest ihres Körpers bedeckt ist, so ist dies haram, auch unter der Annahme das die Bedeckung des Gesichts der Frau keine Pflicht ist. Denn es führt zu üblen Versuchungen, wie bereits erklärt. Die Sünde wird in diesem Fall vervielfacht und die Gefahr wird größer. Durch so eine Tat, hat die Frau eine Übertretung begangen und das verlassen, woran die gläubigen Frauen seit Jahrhunderten schon gewöhnt waren.

    Al-Ghazaali sagte in Ihya' 'Uloom ad-Deen (2/53): "Die Männer waren all die Jahre lang schon immer ohne Gesichtsverschleierung. Und die Frauen sind schon immer mit Gesichtsverschleierung rausgegangen." Zitat Ende. Etwas Ähnliches wird berichtet in Fath al-Baari, 9/337.

    Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar sagte in Fath al-Baari (9/424): "Die Gewohnheit der Frauen in der Vergangenheit und bis kürzlich war die Gesichtsverschleierung in Gegenwart von fremden Männern." Zitat Ende.

    Des Weiteren sollte jeder mit gesundem Menschenverstand begreifen, dass der Zentralpunkt der Schönheit einer Frau ihr Gesicht ist. Und das ist auch das, was die Männer sehen wollen und das ist genau der Faktor, der entscheidet, ob eine Frau schön oder hässlich ist. Demnach öffnet das Veröffentlichen solcher Bilder die Tür der Versuchung. Dadurch könnten die Frauen selbst verführt werden und ihre Bilder dienen als eine Quelle der Versuchung, wo sie für jedem sichtbar sind und auf einer respektlosen Art und Weise missbraucht werden könnten.

    Maryam (a.) [Maria] im Islam

    Wenn man in Deutschland zur Zeit durch die Kaufhäuser oder Weihnachtsmärkte schlendert, findet man fast überall die (bildliche oder figürliche) Darstellung der Maryam al-Azraa (Jungfrau Maria), die hier leider meistens zu kommerziellen Zwecken missbraucht wird. Die meisten Christen wissen sicher nicht, dass Maryam (a.) [Maria] im Koran viel häufiger erwähnt wird als in der Bibel, ist ihr doch im heiligen Buch der Muslime eine ganze Sure (Sura 19 Maryam) gewidmet. An anderer Stelle im Koran findet man die folgenden Worte des Erhabenen (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) : "O Maria! Wahrlich Allah hat dich auserwählt und gereinigt und vor den Frauen in aller Welt erwählt ..." (Sura 3,42) Viele Überlieferungen bestätigen, dass sie zu den hervorragendsten Frauen der Menschheit gehört. Der Koran bestätigt die Jungfrauengeburt, die Muslime lehnen es aber ab, wie die Christen von der "Gottesmutter" zu sprechen, da Isa (Jesus) im Islam zwar ein bedeutender Gesandter ist, aber eben nicht Gott. Außerdem ist die Rede von der "Gottesmutter" in sich widersprüchlich: Gott kann keine Mutter haben, denn dann wäre Er ja nicht mehr der urerste Herr. Auf einen auch für Muslime interessanten Aspekt, hat der verstorbene Papst Johannes Paul II. aufmerksam gemacht. Er sah in einer der bedeutendsten Marienerscheinungen, die von der katholischen Kirche anerkannt worden sind, ein Zeichen im Hinblick auf den notwendigen Dialog zwischen Christen und Muslimen: Diese von der Kirche anerkannte Erscheinung erfolgte 1917 in einem portugiesischen Ort, der ausgerechnet den Namen "Fatima" trägt - wie die Muslime wissen, ist das der Name der Tochter des ehrwürdigen Propheten Mohammed (sallallahu alahi wa salam).

    The death of #SouthAfrica's Nelson #Mandela has captured the attention of the world. The global #media coverage has shown almost unanimous compassion for him and the sacrifices he made. Nelson Mandela, as leader of the African National Congress (ANC), spearheaded the anti-apartheid movement through both advocacy and violence. While today Mandela is acclaimed for his work, at the time of his political activities he and the ANC were branded as terrorists.

    Like Mandela, there are still thousands of people fighting for their rights and making sacrifices to bring change. There are a number of lessons that can be learned in Mandela's attempts to bring change.

    Ideas can bring down governments

    Mandela believed in an ideal that black Africans should not be discriminated against due for their colour. This value drove him to carry out a number of actions to change the status quo around him. Mandela struggled to make apartheid unworkable and the black Africans ungovernable. He gathered others around him to expose apartheid and carry out acts of violence in order to weaken the apartheid government. He organised cells and indoctrinated them in order to unify their ranks and ensure they could deal with the hardships that came with bearing this ideal. This ensured his death or departure did not end the movement. The work for this ideal led him to pay the ultimate price in 1962 when he was sentenced to life imprisonment. The ANC and its armed wing continued with his work and by the late 1980's it became clear to the white dominated government that apartheid was no longer sustainable.

    Subverting real change

    Mandela was hated by the South African white ruling class as he called for change and their replacement. The apartheid government, Margret Thatcher's government and Ronald Reagan, US president, all branded him a "Terrorist." He was hated not because he called for a change, but because of the change that he called for which was to uproot the existing system. It was the pressure he created on the government by mobilising the people against it which led to negotiations with his movement in the late 1980's. A similar strategy is utilised today by western governments and the Muslim rulers. They accuse those who call for change to be terrorists and fanatics. Those who call for real change are branded as idealists who live in the medieval era and not in the 21st century. All of this shows that radical change will always face a clash as those who benefit from the status quo will subvert any values and ideals that challenge the status quo.

    Real change not just a change of faces

    Mandela's struggle sadly ended with rapprochement which has never changed the situation of the black South Africans. The camp of reformers around PW Botha and FW De Klerk succeeded in safeguarding the privileges of the ruling class even by only ending the apartheid and not changing the underlying system. In the words of Ronnie Kasrils who was a former ANC leader "That was the time, from 1991–1996, that the battle for the soul of the ANC got underway and was lost to corporate power and influence. That was the fatal turning point. I will call it our Faustian moment when we became entrapped – some today crying out that we sold our people down the river." Mandela embraced what was around him at the time and embraced liberal democracy and the free market which has ultimately led to the enslavement of his people this time to corporate greed and political corruption.

    After two decades from the end of apartheid the picture remains bleak for black South Africans. Today the wealthiest 10% own 58% of the nation's wealth, and the top 5% own 43% of the nation's wealth.(1) Today 70% of South Africa's land is still owned by the white decedents from the Boers. This is despite the promises of the ANC to redistribute 30% of the land from whites to blacks. (2) 50% of South Africa's populations live under the poverty line.

    Mandela's struggle to uproot the system is a lesson for the Muslims of Syria today who are struggling to remove the regime of al-Assad. Offers of talks or rapprochement by the regime or its allies are to end the uprisings and maintain the status quo. If such talks under the guise of negotiations are accepted this would indeed leave the Ummah in the same position as the people of Mandela are today.

    Mandela served 27 years in a jail cell for challenging what he believed to be injustice. Mandela embraced what was around him at the time and this has only chained his people in a new form of colonialism. For the Ummah the solutions to her problems can only originate from Islam and their problems can only be solved through the Khilafah. The burden remains on the Ummah to carve out the political path necessary for their own liberation. Whilst there is much we can learn from Mandela of remaining steadfast in one's struggle and accepting the consequences of this, the Ummah's struggle is for real change is the replacement of the current systems with that of Allah سبحانه وتعالى system.

    If a non-Muslim asks you "will non-Muslims be oppressed in a Caliphate, by the Muslim majority?", reassure them by saying "don't worry, it won't be a democracy" [While the Muslim Ummah has the authority to select/elect a Caliph, this is not democracy just because it can share one feature that is similar. That's like saying a chair is a donkey because they both have four legs! By that logic i could say that a monarchy is democratic because it shares the same feature of having one head ruler!]
